Incarnation

I just finished Athanasius work, On the Incarnation. I found it to be more doxological than I expected. Have you read it? What are your thoughts about it?

Also, what other works by him or the church fathers would you recommend?

I absolutely loved On the Incarnation -- especially the one with the Lewis preface. We read it in a systematic theology class early in seminary and I have returned to it a few times since then!!

I am also looking for more from the early church fathers and am eager to see what y'all come across or recommend.
