"Sira..." London and few other angles came up to her, surrounding her. He was doing his best to ignore the burning feeling in his lungs. And he just now noticed Olivia bleeding with Sira's sword in her. The red eyes she had a few minutes ago, had gone back to normal.

"Son we have to do it now." Bram said coming up next to London.
"No..." London breathed. "There has to be another way."
"There isn't, and you know that." He put his hands on his shoulders. London closed his eyes tightly and shook his head.

London didn't want to believe it, he didn't want to lose her. He went to go for her, but cost himself being held back.
"Keep him back." Bram said as a few others grabbed Olivia and teleported away with her it wasn't long before he realized it was useless and sank to his knees.
"I love you." He whispered quietly. Now having trouble ignoring his lungs.

London looked up just as she started to fall. He gasped as he saw it and mustered up everything he had to push himself forward as fast as he could. He got under her just in time to catch her in his arms. Skidding to his knees as he did.

He let out a relieved breath as she landed safely in his arms. But she was completely unconscious. He sighed and went to stand but couldn't stop coughing.
"Here, let me take her." Bram said quietly and gently took her from him. "Come, we'll get you both to the infirmary."

~A year later~
Sira was so used to the dark that as soon as she opened her eyes the light scared her. She quickly closed her eyes hoping to see the two people who stayed with her during her coma. Paris and Jensen. But, they were gone. She opened her eyes again and felt so strange. So weird. She blinked and didn't even know where she was. 'Did I die... All this time...?' She thought.
London had hardly ever left her side during the year she was out. The first few weeks be was recovering still from his lungs, but now they were pretty much back to normal. He was sitting in a chair by her bed when he looked up and saw her eyes open. He couldn't believe it for a moment, he blinked and slowly got to his feet.
"Sira." He said quietly.
"Sira." He said quietly.

He wasn't quite sure what to say. She seemed a little scared. He remembered the doctor saying that she might be that way once she woke up. He guessed be did look a bit different now, his hair was a bit longer, along with a bit of a shadow on his face. He decided to give her a bit of time to take in her surroundings.

He walked over the rest of the way and sat on the side of the bed. He was afraid to tell her just how long it had been.
"It's...been about a year." He said gently.
"It's...been about a year." He said gently.

He sighed softly and hugged her back. He knew it would take awhile for her to get use to everything again. And he would make sure to be there to help her as much as possible.
"I'm so sorry." He whispered.
"I'm so sorry." He whispered.

He smiled a bit at her, at least she was trying to be positive.
"Well we rebuilt somethings that were...destroyed." He said, then changed the subject. "You didn't miss to much though. "Really the biggest thing was Iris getting engaged." He smiled slightly. "She came in a few times to see you."

"Don't worry, they haven't got married yet." He said softly. "Me? "I've just been helping Lara with her training, and going on patrols here and there."

He pressed his lips together as he watched her. It was so much for her to take in at once.
"You don't have to jump back into everything right away." He said softly. "You can take it as slowly as you need to. "And I'll be here to help if you need me, whatever you need."

"Of course." He said softly and gently kissed her forehead. "I'll let my parents know first. "Do you want me to get you some food while I'm at it?"

"Okay." He nodded as he pulled his communicator out of his pocket. "I'll be right back." He said softly and headed out the door. "You have a visitor." He said smiling, as he passed Iris.
"She's awake?" She said excitedly, quickly going into the room.
"She's awake?" She said excitedly, quickly going into the room.

"Oh I'm so glad to see you up." She said smiling. "I have so much to tell you." She bit her lip, not wanting to overwhelm her. "But I can't wait for you to meet my fiancee. "And I was hoping that you would be one of my bridesmaids."

"You know every time I came up here, London was sitting right there." She said softly. "Berry too." She smiled and nodded to where he was sleeping on another chair.

"It was hard of course, especially on London." She said. "It definetly wore on him a bit. "But we didn't want to give up hope, we were willing to wait for you."

She took in a soft breath.
"He really never left here." She said softly. "And when he did he was either training Lara or training on his own. "I suppose it was just his way of dealing with it."

"They were always telling him to head home and get some sleep." She shrugged slightly. "But he just wanted to stay, I think he was afraid he wouldn't be here when you woke up."

She smiled as she asked.
"Well you do know him." She said softly. "Its Daniel. "I've known him for awhile, but I guess I never really noticed him until he came up here. "And we just started talking."

"Thank you." She said happily. "I know we will be." She thought for a moment. "What about you and London, do you think you two will one day? "I mean if you you don't mind me asking."

"It is a big step, so don't worry about it to much." She smiled and gently squeezed her hand.
"Lara says hi." London said coming back in the room. "She's on her first mission right now though."
"She'll do fine." Iris said nodding. "But anyway I should get going. "I have to pick up my soon to be daughter." She smiled and got to her feet.

"See you guys later." Iris waved as she left. London came over and sat down.
"You two get caught up?" He asked her. "She's been doing pretty well for herself. "She says its all thanks to you."

He blinked a few times, surprised by that.
"You...you want me to go?" He said a bit confused. She had just woken up, and now all he wanted to do was help her through this.
