"It's not dangerous." He reassured her. "It's called an Adlet. "When they're little like this, they look like puppies. "But when they get older the bottom part of them look like a dog, and the top part looks like a human. "I thought they were extinct...."
She stared at him confused. "Are you saying this is a half human half dog thing?" She said not wanting to touch him.
"No they just look like that." He said looking back at her. "But I promise they are perfectly safe. "I just find out where this little girls parents are." He stood up and looked around again.
"It's a girl?!" She couldn't imagine it when it grew up. It would be so creepy. "Do you think it's just something that lives in the wild?"
"I don't think so." He shook his head. "A long time ago they use to live here with us. "But then they just disappeared." He thought for a moment, looking over at the treeline. "Maybe your right...."
She was nervous about it, but she sighed and said, "just put her down. She'll go where she wants to." She said petting Berry.
He didn't want to just let her go, but he knew she was right. He nodded and gently set her down. She stared up at him for a moment, before barking at him then running off and disappearing into the tree line.
"I...I'm sorry about that." He said with a sigh and sat down on the blanket again.
"I...I'm sorry about that." He said with a sigh and sat down on the blanket again.
"Yeah, but guess what." She smiled at him. "There's probably a mommy and daddy in that forest. Which means, they are repopulating." She said laying down again.
He smiled slightly and nodded his head.
"Your right." He said softly. "Hopefully they'll get there numbers up again." He took in a deep breath and looked over at her. "How are you feeling? He asked laying next to her again and taking her hand.

She put Berry down besides her and looked over at London. "I feel better." She nodded and closed her eyes.
"Good, I'm glad." He smiled and ran a hand through his hair. Stopping for a moment and taking a strand of it between his fingers. "So here's a random question. "Do you think I need a haircut?"
She looked over at him. "Do you think it's pretty long?" She asked. Though she didn't really notice his hair length until now.
"Longer then it's been in awhile." He smiled and looked over at her. "But if you don't mind it, I guess it really doesn't matter."
"Wait. How long does it go?" She asked sitting up and looking at his hair. "If it's past your eyes then it's to long."
"Right now?" He flattened it down a bit in front of his face. "It's just above my eyes."
She smiled. "I think it's fine." She said with a shrug. She thought it was cute he was concerned about it. She kissed his cheek.
He smiled and kissed her back softly.
"I'm glad you think so." He said softly. He blinked as he felt some wetness hit his face. He looked up surprised. "Oh crap."
"I'm glad you think so." He said softly. He blinked as he felt some wetness hit his face. He looked up surprised. "Oh crap."
"It's raining?" He stood up as it came down harder. "It's to early for rain. "It feels nice at least."
She lifted her hand as the rain poured down. Also watched as the food became less edible. "So much for leftovers..." She mumbled. "What should we do now?"
"Lets get to some cover, before we get drenched." He said going over and quickly putting everything into the basket. He sighed as he heard his communicator go off. "Go and I'll catch up." He smiled at her.
'Its weird everything weird is popping up as soon as we had our picnic.' She thought as she grabbed Berry and the basket. Then, ran undercover.
He answered his communicator and listened to his father speak on the other end.
"You have to get back to that dig site." He said quickly. "Do whatever you have to get that hole covered again."
"So much for time off." He sighed as he hung up and quickly ran to get undercover.

She watched him and then moved over when he came in. "What was the call about?" She asked as she moved some of his damp hair from his face.
"Apparently that hole they were digging to get to the gate, it's causing all of this....strangeness." He said with a sigh. "Have to close the hole back up."
"I thought you filled in the hole a long time ago. Maybe that's why I'm acting funny too! Since I'm connected to the gate and all." She said suddenly very hopeful. 'Maybe Lara is wrong. I'll get rid of it when they fill in the hole.' She thought.
"Maybe." He said nodding thoughtfully. "And I thought it was closed up to. "But apparently it wasn't. "I'll have to do it myself."
"I'll go with you." She said instantly. "I want to make sure how the gate was holding up too." She said.
He looked over at her and took in a deep breath. He didn't really want her to go. It was definitely going to be dangerous. And who knew what the gate was doing, and would probably do to her. But he knew he wouldn't be able to stop her.
"Alright." He said softly. "Just stay close to me okay."
"Alright." He said softly. "Just stay close to me okay."
"Like how close? My close is here to the hospital." She said with a slight playfulness in her voice.
He laughed a bit and shook his head.
"Just stay close enough so that I can see you still." He smiled and took her hand. "I...don't know what I would do if something happened."
"Just stay close enough so that I can see you still." He smiled and took her hand. "I...don't know what I would do if something happened."
She nodded and took his hand as well. "Alright." She said softly. "Are we going to teleport? Take a Dune? Fly?"
"We can't teleport yet." He said shaking his head. "And it's to hard of a trip of a Dune. "So I guess we'll just have to fly."
"Lara lives near by." He said thoughtfully. "I can quickly bring him there, and then we can go."
"Okay." She looked down at Berry. She petted his head a bit before handing him over to London. "Be careful."
"I will." He kissed her softly. "I'll be right right back." He smiled and quickly started off toward Lara's. Doing his best to make sure Berry didn't get to wet.
Sira watched for a moment before she felt a sudden tug making her knees go weak for a second. She shook her head slightly and regained herself once again.
London quickly made it to Lara's and explained everything. He left Berry with her and started on the way back. He gasped slightly as thunder and then lighting boomed over head. They had to hurry. He quickened his pace and got back to her.
She looked at him when he came back. "Okay you ready?" She asked pretending she didn't feel light headed or anything.
"Yeah, lets get going." He nodded and took her hand and gently pulled her close. He unfurled his wings and jumped into the air, flying off toward he boarder again.
She held onto him as the rain started to drench her again. She felt another tug just as the wind started to pick up speed.
He had to pump his wings harder as they wind picked up, he was flying against the wind now. He was glad he was a good flier, otherwise he would be blown back and never able to make it there.
She gripped onto him really tight since the rain and wind wasn't helping her grip on him. On top of that was her strange pulls that made her dizzy.
He felt her grip tighten and he glanced down at her for a moment. She had a strained look on her face, and he started to get worried for her. He was glad when the boarder came into view, and he landed as gently as possible.
She lifted her hand to block the rain and wind to see properly. She saw the gates still visible. She sighed and started to walk towards them.
He winced a bit as the wind picked up more, throwing dirt up and hitting him in the face like little stingers. It seemed to be reacting to her.
She did her best and took a deep breath like she had done when she was closing the gates. She walked forward calmly and the air and dirt flowed over her like she had a some surrounding her.
He sucked in a breath as he started walking behind her. It was like the air around him was being sucked away. He did his best to keep up with her, breathing so he could save as much as air as he could.
