In January 2024 my rates will raised, so book in now for current rate.

I offer proofreading, copyediting, and beta reading services (currently working my way through a developmental editing course). I tend to work with fantasy, middle school, YA, fiction, sci-fi, and occasionally memoirs. My background is in the sciences (zoology) and history (Greek and Roman).

My current rates are (Canadian dollars):

$1 per 1000 words for beta read (min charge of $10)
0.01 per word for copyedit
0.007 per word for proofread

I offer a 1,000 word sample edit for copyedit or proofread.
