Allowing Authors to alter their pages.

HELP PLEASE!
I don't have time to waste - I'm old - I have possibly another ten years of life. I drifted away from Goodreads because of the time wasting trying to get things done to my books. I made requests to the librarians three or four years ago to change blurbs. No response. I'm trying to get someone else's book removed from my list of books. No response.

I go to my author page, am shown the edit button and try to replace the blurbs, update details and last night it worked after three attempts. Today NO I have to be a Librarian. But Librarians don't respond. My author page says I can edit. My email is registered. I've wasted another 2 hours which I need for my writing.

Those of you here who are Librarians, what is the problem? i can see you are grossly overworked so wouldn't an author ID help? Why can I not tidy up my author's page?

I do not have time to waste so what's the solution?
