Theo Rogers | 43 comments I think it does what it says on the tin.

Yes, it is kindle available on amazon.co.uk:

Rather than me telling you all about how wonderful it is, I encourage you to go check out what the reviewers who've already posted have had to say about it.

You can also check it out on Amazon's US website, where (as of the time of posting) it has 128 reviews, the majority of which are 5 star, and all but 4 of which gave it 4 stars or better:

If you're wondering whether the book is right for you, I think this humble 4 star review by successful urban fantasy author Mark Henwick on the UK site does a pretty good job of laying out exactly what my book has to offer.

Of course I'm happy to answer any questions that anyone might have.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments You're welcome.

BTW, we have another Australian author here, the lovely Katie Stewart.

Theo Rogers | 43 comments I don't seem to be able to get that thread to work properly. When I click on "newest" or try to go to the more recent pages, I keep getting the error message: "Invalid API key".

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Odd, that doesn't happen for me. Ok, here is a link to the most recent page.

Theo Rogers | 43 comments Yep, that works. Thanks!

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Just read your book. It seems pretty good to me. Solid, sensible and helpful advice from an insider.

Just one comment though, that very last bit, about getting your Facebook fans etc to comment on reviews... you might want to increase the emphasis on making sure that any comments or votes they make are respectful and polite. Just because of a certain very well known author who has done the opposite and encouraged her fans to tear bad reviews apart and bury them.

Theo Rogers | 43 comments Thanks for the kind words. And yes I know which author you're talking about. I honestly find it sad at this point to see where that's ultimately ended up.

As for increasing the emphasis... I guess that's a judgement call. I can honestly say that at the time I wrote it, I did do my best to explain to authors that it is in their own best interests to encourage their fans to behave themselves. To explain that "polite and reasonable counter-criticism will aid your cause in a way that fans who just plain cuss out anyone who disagrees with them will not."

Nevertheless, this issue has grown since then. If I do further revisions to the text at some point down the line, I'll bear what you said in mind.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Yes, I find it sad too. And having read some of her postings, I have lost any respect I had for her.
