Jessica | 14 comments I’m thinking to start with the twisted series next year but I read a lot of controversial stuff about it, so I don’t know if I should start.

Are the books worth the reading?

I don’t like books that don’t have a real plot and are just about spice. I need to be touched by a book.

Christy | 232 comments I loved the whole series. All of them had a plot but there was also much spice. I also heard many bad things about Twisted love but if you don't like that, then you should still read the other books because they are so much better.

message 3: by ely_isa_beth (new)

ely_isa_beth I haven't finished the series yet (I've read just the first two books) but I think it isn't nothing special, anyway it's perfect if you want something slight to read and some romance.
I personally didn't fall in love with the first book (I gave it ⭐⭐⭐) but I liked more the second one because I loved the princess trope.
In conclusion if you want to be touched by a book I'm not sure this is the series for you.

luna_inthesouth | 168 comments hey Jessica!!
twisted series was one of first ever books, and at the time, i really enjoyed all 4 of them more or less . I've heard so many terrible reviews, as you may have noticed, so if you didn't like the first one, please don't give up because it gets way better from the second book on!! the plot is okay, but there are some good spicy scenes if you're into that. Overall, it's a good read!

Jessica | 14 comments Thank you guys so much for your reviews 💕

komi ☆ | 75 comments i honestly didn't like the series as much as i hoped to :') twisted love was a hard read imo, it was so bad i found it hilarious at times. twisted games was better but then it got boring towards the end,, twisted hate and twisted lies were definitely the best out of the series though! ngl i found this series overhyped, and ana huang's writing was just not it for me :(

xiao | 11 comments So I read these books during these summer, in less than a week i think.
They weren’t even in the slightest what i expected them to be. I would say that they’re a little overhyped. However, I kind of enjoyed it anyway.
They’re a chill reading, so if you need something easy they’re nice. I didn’t like the first book much, it was too pushed and all rushed in the end, the plot wasn’t really the best… but it gets better in the following books. I personally liked more twisted hate and twisted lies. Twisted games was great too. (compared to the first one)

Oh and expect a lot of spice.

Charlotte | 63 comments They are definitely worth reading! Though I will say that all stories are quite similar and you start to recognize Ana’s patterns in her writing and storytelling. Still, if you are looking for light and romantic books with decent plots, you should give it a go. :)

Jennie ♡ | 148 comments if i'm being super honest, i didn't really enjoy the first two books as much as i'd thought i would ( gave them both 3/5 stars! ) but the 3rd and 4th book were my favs! ( gave them both 5/5 stars ) so all i can say is that the stories keep getting better and better!

Rachel Cawood | 1 comments I've only read the first two. They weren't my cup of tea, personally. I did not enjoy the romance or plot in either. I can see why so many people enjoy them though!

message 11: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 24 comments I loved them, although the last one wasn't necessarily my cup of tea and it was a bit boring. They are worth the hype and they didn't let me down. My favourites were twisted love and twisted hate.

Didi Newman (scarletkittyxo) | 4 comments Was hard for me to get into the first one and I could read a 400-page book in one day. The writing was not very good to me. The storyline felt forced with WAYYY too many tropes. I probably will not read the second one, the first was just okay I gave it two stars. I also have seen a lot of people say the rest of the series is worse or hard to read. So I am not even wasting the money to read it maybe I can get them cheap on Kindle or audiobook but won't pay full price. Some of the twists were interesting but that is about it for me, the spicy scenes were okay as well.

summer⁎ ˚ ˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆ It's one of my top series ever so I 100% recommend them. The first one is the worst but it DOES get better after that. I read the second one first and the first second, so feel free to do that because the first one can be very offputting when you're not expecting a murder book. After you get to like Alex in the other books you end up loving the first one.

They do tell a great story, all four of them, with a lot of spice and personal growth. The conflict in most of them overlap in the sense of they all are involved with each other, which even continues into the Kings of Sin series.

Karsyn | 611 comments I did enjoy the series, but I'm gonna be real... the first book is rough 😂 the mmc is a much better character in the other three books than he is in his own. Personally, I loved the third book the most, book 2 was def a close second. The fourth book, I didn't really have a lot of feelings about, it was pretty middle of the pack, but the first book def is last in my ranking 😂 I thought the plots were better in book 2 and 3, and the spice was better too in my opinion. Overall though I enjoyed the series and would recommend giving it a try!

mar | 243 comments Save urself and skip twisted love 😭 but the rest are good especially twisted lies that one was my fav!

message 16: by Catherine (new)

Catherine McCullough | 2 comments I have read all 4 and I really enjoyed the series. I have heard most people don't love the first book (Twisted Love) but I thought it was okay. My favorites in the series are Twisted Games (book 2) and Twisted Lies (book 4). I do think there is plot, it's definitely not a book full of spicy scenes, although there are around 4-8 chapters in each book that have those scenes in them. For me, Twisted Hate (book 3) took a while for me to get into, compared to other books I have read but it was still really good.

Kayla Wayla 🧚🏾‍♀️ | 12 comments Honestly the Twisted series is for shits, blushes and giggles lmaoo. Twisted Lies is my all time favorite. It has spice YES but the plot is still good too. Twisted Love you can 100% skip, in fact I strongly recommend skipping it lol...but the other three I highly recommend. Josh Chen and Christian Harper are actually hilarious! Like I said, this series is just for a cute, funny, "spicy" yet entertaining time.

allie woolsey | 3 comments I felt like the whole series was so overrated. I mean they were good, but not great. I specifically did not like the first one

౨ৎfilippa౨ৎ the first book (twisted love) is ok but it’s really cringe at some points and alex is just a toxic asshole. the second book (twisted games) is soo good. i haven’t read the others but i’ve only heard good things about them💗

message 20: by Heather (new)

Heather Lynn | 6 comments Loved the whole series! Love Ana Huang! Wish I could read them again for the 1st time!

message 21: by Cemre (new)

Cemre Kıvırcık | 7 comments They are my current fav series. For me it is strictly red flags irl, but in fantasy? I just looooooooove red kinda situation.

Marie-Frédérique | 20 comments It wasn’t anything groundbreaking but it was a nice read that kept me entertained and that I would recommend. There’s loads of different tropes in the books and the characters are interesting so I’m sure you’ll find them to your taste.

message 23: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (hannahlee153) | 3 comments I really liked the first two books. They were simple and easy to read romance. The third was good but not AS good, and the fourth I just decided to DNF. I just couldn't get myself to stay involved in the story.
