It's fine - we're not scorekeeping or any such thing. It's only bragging rights, if anything :)"
Thank you , Tien. I’m sorry if I put pressure on you to make the thread. I didn’t mean to. I honestly didn’t know if it was required or not. Now I see how laid back this group is and I really appreciate that
oh not at all! I appreciate the reminder because I have totally forgotten. I'm a terrible administrator :/

Tien, you are a WONDERFUL administrator. This group could not exist without you, no matter how many other administrators we added. Your life is very busy, and I'm sure we all appreciate how very much of it you give to provide the enjoyment this group gives us.

You are amazing and come up with the most original and engaging challenges.
Thank you so much for everything you do for the group.
Thank you, Susan & Lauren. I know I'm not great with the little details - more of a big idea person lol
Tien, you are the most creative person I know...and probably one of the busiest! And, still you run this group. Let me know...when I return...how I can help. I have all the time in the world and really did enjoy helping out with 15 last year.

Ooh, good question!
I'd say it'll have to be by him or her only because 'similarity' will be based on that, mostly.

I was going to ask if there was a way to do this, rather than look through 25 pages to find a particular book.

I've been doing something that saves a little time, though it's far from ideal. For the book you want, go to its list of shelves and see how many people have shelved to book on the shelf you're interested in.
Then, on the pages for the shelf, you can jump around bit. If you know your book was shelved there by 456 people, you can skip all the pages that have more than 1000, for example. If you skip all the way to p. 25, and the last book shelved is higher than what your book needs, then you know you're out of luck.
Hope that's not too confusing, and that it helps you find what you want.

Unfortunately, this isn't possible. It's one of those features that GR promised but never delivered.

I've been doing this too, and it does help.

Welcome, Avigail. Yes, you can start anytime you like. The challenges are yearlong so you still have lots of time to read them ;)
