whenever i can, mostly alone though
nighttime when the music hits and it's dark
reading before going to school just hits differently.or when it's windy and I have to hold the pages tightly in my hands.
Usually in the evening, when everything around has quieted down
I read any time I get a chance, but in the evening is the perfect time for me.
Mostly at night but if it is a horror book than I read it during the day
In the small breaks that I Have at my job.

Afternoon, unless it’s a really good book, then like 9:00p.m.-3:00 a.m.
At night under the covers with a lamp on and a good show on in the background and a snack 😊

I think the mornings are my favorite time to read :)
after all those months when I wrote this question I am infact still a midnight reader who now owns a bookmark saying "I read past my bedtime"

Any chance I get but my favorite is after I get home from work. It's a perfect decompressing time

Morning, afternoon and night. Other than that, not so much.One of the few advantages of retirement is having time to read when I want to, when the urge to pick up the current book and see what the characters are doing. I can and literally read morning, afternoon and night. Not every day and not all three (usually) in a day.
I read all the time! During the day, I read about things related to my work (e.g., writing, marketing, publishing, etc.) But just before I sleep, I like to read other genres (romance, true crime, short stories, etc.)
During breakfast and before I go to bed. Sometimes during my work commute
