I've noticed that you seem to have gravitated towards more lighter, romance-type stories. That's so weird because we seem to be in sync with our reading choices.
I have shifted a bit. Life is being a little crazy right now and my attention span is not that great. Lighter books are easier for me to follow especially on audiobooks which is where I’m doing most of my reading.

I see books from that series on the Kindle Daily deals quite often and wonder if I should nab a few.
The main character reminds me a bit of Gamache . The earlier books ( which I’ve been listening to ) are definitely written in a less politically correct time ( fair warning.) i don’t think you need to read these in order like you do Three Pines. Let me know what you think if pick up one.
Actually, I do have one. It's book 29, Trace Elements. I think I bought it to fit some challenge or other and never got to reading it. LOL!
