My book club meeting is tonight. I did enjoy the MC as she wasn't black and white, but in general I'm not a big fan of John Boyne. I know I'm in the tiny minority but I do like my characters to have grey shades. Not that there many of those in the death camps, but the modern day story disappointed me.
