Hello all! Some of us know each other, and some of us don't. Here's an introduction thread.

I'll go first!

I'm Sara Maeve, I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and I plan on going to grad school for Library and Information Studies in the fall (hopefully). I read a lot of course, however most of my novels are in the classics, high fantasy, and YA genres. I'm all about some supernatural elements as well. If I could choose one book to take with me on a desert island it would be Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix or Middlesex.

Okay my turn. I'm Jennifer, I'm a junior at UNCG, and honestly books and puppies are the only things giving me joy right now. Also foreign musicals. My favorite genres are Historical fiction, High fantasy, and Steampunk. I also like making book recs, so if you're curious let me know!

Desiree | 3 comments Hi everyone! My name is Desiree Meinville. I am currently attending Ross University School of Medicine. I have a psych degree with a minor in English and a bio degree with a minor in chem. I love reading. I echo Sara's typical genres. I am also a writer.

message 4: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Gunter Hi guys :) I'm Rachel, I'm 20 and from the UK. I'm in my second year of university studying criminology. I'm a lover of books, my favourite genres are paranormal and dystopian but to be honest I can read anything!

And Sara I definitely agree about taking Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix to a desert island - definitely my favourite book in the series, with Prisoner of Azkaban in a close second!

That's funny Desiree, as I said I have an English degree but one of my minors is Psych.

PoA is my second as well!

It's lovely to meet you both.
