I've never read a Moomin book before - I should give one a try. It's fun to try favorite kids book from other countries and cultures, I think.
You're making super progress!
You're making such amazing progress! What did you think of Moshi Moshi by Banana Yoshimoto? I really enjoyed her Kitchen and Moonlight Shadow, but have generally been a bit disappointed by her other works. But this is one I haven't read.
I liked it, gave it 3 stars. I didn't really warm to the main character, but I did like the mother-daughter dynamic in the story. This is the first book I've read by her, so not sure how it compares to her other works.
Challenge #12 completed. I found the Anne of Green Gables series to be cozy and enjoyable. And that completes my buffet challenge for the year. Thank you Bob for putting together this challenge : )
Wow, already done the buffet challenge in May. So impressive! I'm glad you enjoyed the Anne series too.
