Le bleu est une couleur chaude
question
Good but frustratingly unrealistic

I read this for the first time yesterday and as much as I loved it, as much as it really struck a cord with me.... the fact that (view spoiler) I have done the whole "having sex in the parent's house while closeted" shtick and this would NEVER happen. Especially given how upset Clem was at how her classmates reacted to her apparent homosexuality, the fact that she didn't try to guard in her own home felt completely unrealistic to me. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the graphic novel, but wow. I'm just still kind of reeling that the author thought that was a plausible way to move her story along. It was obviously a move of utter convenience on her part.
