book rec that had you falling out of your seat

i recently read the mindf*ck series and honestly that was the best book i’ve read all year so you can imagine how upset i was finding out the author died in a CAR CRASH. i was so saddened to hear that and wish that she could be here to see how amazing her books progressions turned out.

with that being said i’m looking for a book rec or book series that had you almost falling out of your seat that was so good you’d call it your favorite book of the year.

I finished the mindf*ck series like two days ago, and my mind is still so warped with how any other book in the world will compare because it is officially one of my favourite books in the world.

WITSEC series by Ashley Rostek was my favourite books until I read mindf*ck series and although slightly different vibe, it has some similarities.

betrayal by gwen hunter, found it at my parents house and started reading, i couldnt put it down since

The fourth wing, I think it became my favorite book of the year. It is one of the few books where I cried because I was so into the pov's characters emotions and her feelings
