What was deleted? I see the tweet was deleted. Was there a newsletter linked in the email that was also deleted?

Yes, Cusk was the only one mentioned, it was on the headline and once you click on the link it does not show anything
So presumably somebody realised pretty quickly that the email was premature - it is possible that the page the link pointed to was never made public.
Indie dominance would seem to count against Ali Smith even though Gliff is eligible (by one day). I do not think it would be a great choice anyway - I think we need to wait for Glyph to see if she is doing something really innovative.

But what that'll actually mean in practice is impossible to discern.
