😆 you crack me up but I'm down for that! I love buddy reads and as long as I can grab the book using my KU subscription I'll read pretty much any MM Romance.
Hey all, I added my two completed books to the SS but am confused about the other challenges listed there. I'm really new to this group so didn't join any of those other challenges. To get more points do I need to join those other challenges in addition to this one or does my book get extra points if I read one that maybe someone else read as part of those other challenges? Sorry I'm confused.

You get one bonus point if you use your book for any of those challenges BUT there are other bonus point options as well. Look at the bonus tab.

I'm willing! I'm trying to close out so many challenges right now that I don't have a lot of flexibility, but I'll give it a shot.
It looks like Buddy Reads have to be at least 300 pages to count - 500+ for better points.
And I'm sorry, team, that I haven't posted any books yet. I'm having a crazy weekend. I'm in retail management (and 'tis the season), plus I went to the opening night of a show Friday (plus after party) and have dinner out and an audition tonight and tomorrow night (community theatre.) I promise I'll get caught up and throwing snowballs soon!

On the SS does the grey mean that's it's done? If so, it looks like we have a book with no outcome or I'm looking at it wrong. Can someone else check? (Line 12)

I'm very excited about [book:System Collapse|65211701] - my reserve has just come through. I'm going to listen to All Systems Red before reading the latest one. I read All Systems the first time so the audio should be fun.

I just got Artificial Condition from my library this morning! I had the reserve on it but I wasn't due it until later in the month :D

I just added my first book. And it was short one, too. But I did finish it so that's something LOLSecond one should be done by tomorrow.
Everyone got really quiet. I haven't read much the past couple of days. I spent a couple of days with a friend. We went to the casino for a bit (didn't win but had fun), played a bunch of board games, and watched a few movies. I finally watched the movie The Birdbox and really liked it. Started watching Birdbox: Barcelona but couldn't get into it. I'll probably finish watching it one of these days. Also watched the new Netflix movie Leave the World Behind. Zero stars. Would not recommend. Anyway, I'm just about to add the one book I did finish. Hopefully my snowball will find its mark!

Guys, I am very sorry but my personal life has been a mess this past week and there is no hope of situations getting better anytime soon. I haven't been able to pick up a book for a few days now. I hate to be doing this, but I don't know when I'd be able to make a comeback.
Kira - please take care of yourself first. This is just a fun, silly game. Your health and personal well-being are far more important. Hoping things get better for you!!
I'm sorry, I didn't update the SS on the weekend 🙈 I added my books now, sorry for the delay.@Kira as Erica already wrote, don't worry, personal health should always be first. I understand feeling sorry, since you don't want to let people down, but the good thing about this being a team challenge is that there's never one person having to read everything alone. I'm not always reading the same amount of books too, and I'm just lucky to have a good reading time right now, but we're not machines and reading should be fun. I don't speak for other people (but I think we're all probably on the same page anyways ^^), but I'll never be mad at you for something like this :) I hope you can find some peace and strength to endure this situation until it gets better 🍀

My reading has been slow, real life is kicking my behind, but I may have another finished tomorrow or next day. So far only 2 short books read.Sending virtual hugs to everyone, esp. those having a hard time.
It's the season - too much to do, family visits, year end work crush - just everything. I was in a pisser mood earlier. Somehow cleaning the kitchen (even mopped the floor!) helped.
