can i skip caraval series and just read once upon a broken heart? i read caraval and i'm reading legendary now but i'm not enjoying it

you can read it without finishing the caraval series (but reading both helps you understand one character a lot better imo!) :)

To be honest I read Once upon a broken heart without reading Caraval, I didn't think some of the world building or characters were from there but I thought I understood what was needed anyway but you could read it .
