Gail (gailifer) | 2184 comments I have had Bebo's Girl on my TBR shelf for some time. It is an old and dusty physical book but I plan to read it in January. I actually had very few choices of books that I had not read this month. I have not read A Dance to the Music of Time but I think that is about a million pages....

Jane | 378 comments I was going to read The House in Paris and was about to order a copy when Amazon informed me I already purchased it in 2006. I have no memory of reading it!! Regardless, I decided to go with a brand new one, also an easy start to the year: Mrs. ‘Arris Goes to Paris.

Mrs Arris Goes to Paris is such a good one, too.

Maddy | 38 comments I almost want to pick The Once and Future King, but I'm saturated with big books for the time being. I think I'll read Mrs. 'Arris Goes to Paris.

Daisey | 332 comments I listened to Mrs. 'Arris Goes to Paris yesterday. This was a book I knew nothing about, other than having seen that there was a recent movie, and it was a pure delight.

Glad you liked it Gail. The movie starring Lesley Manville as Mrs. Harris is worth a watch.
