Charlene Taylor | 4 comments I read this as part of a sample on Kindle, I think 2020-2022ish. The first chapters are about a girl who is playing to become a caretaker of a secret library. They are put in exclusion for several weeks prior to their final vows, at which point their tongue is cut out.
I only read the sample chapters, but it has stuck with me for 2 years and I now want to read all of it! Sorry I don't have more to go on.
