Every time when I click on "add new series" it goes to homepage. Does anyone know why it occurs and is it related with that I am a new librarian and does not have rights to create series?? How can I create series eventually?

You do not appear to be a librarian, did you submit the application form?

If you are a librarian it stats that under your profile picture.

All users can add books and edit for a short while.

The same behavior occurs for GR Authors who are not able to create a series.

If you need a series created then, start a thread here with the information and some one will add

According to your profile, you are not a librarian.
(Being a member of the librarians group does not make you a librarian).
Everyone can add books to Goodreads.
Only librarians can create and edit series.

On profiles --

It states "goodreads librarian" if you have librarian status.

It might state "top librarian" or "librarian" if you've added a qualifying works to the book database here according to statistics for whatever country you say you are from—not the same as being a librarian able to edit books, series, unclaimed-author-profiles and spam in areas like listopias.

I have no idea why they couldn't say "top contributor" or "top user" type of phrasing instead—but, that's how it is.

You can Post whatever series you want added in this group and a goodreads librarian will add for you.
