Someone pls help me find the name of this book

I read a book on KU quite a while ago, and can’t remember much about it except I think the main female character worked at a bar, and at some point it gets broken into with her in it. She calls the main male character and he saves her. Does anyone know this book??

what does the male lead do for a job? do they live in small town or city? North, South etc? what are the sidekicks like?
