I'm sure this has been addressed before, but I see nothing on it in the Librarian's Manual or in a search of this forum.
Should different numbered editions be combined? For instance,
shows the Fourth and Fifth editions. Should these be combined, or left separate?
My impulse is to leave them separate, as the text can vary substantially between editions, but I wanted to be sure.
