What should a Vampire read next?

I'm starting a series of blog posts wherein one of my characters - a vampire - reviews well known Vamp/supernatural books from his...unique perspective. But I could use some help with recommendations! So far, he wrote the first one on Patricia Briggs's "Moon Called" (which he liked). I've got "Monster Hunters International" next (which he didn't). Of course I'll get to "Twilight". Then probably one of the Dresden books, something by Kim Harrison and then Ilona Andrews. Any thoughts?

He wrote all different genres, if I'm remembering right. When he got bored with one he moved on to another, and his current genre is romance.
