Marius Bancila | 29 comments OK, the titles is a little silly because as a member of the Goodreads Author Program I do have the option to add new books. So I know I can do that. But is that OK? Can I add books that are not mine?

I have a list of books pending for adding that nobody looks at (see https://www.goodreads.com/group/topic...). And I have several more to add. These are all books published in Romania that are not currently found in the database, so I want them added. But the adding process is so broken now and librarians are overwhelmed. I have complained before about that but that doesn't help. And since I've joined the author program recently, I thought I could just add them like in the good old days (when I did add a few).

I suppose we, the authors, would not have the option to add books if it wasn't OK for us to add books. But I wanted to check because I didn't find a policy about that written anywhere (I'm sure there must be).
