I am not sure where to ask this. I know it is something that regular librarians can't do. I came across a cookbook that was written by Vincent Price and his wife at the time Mary. It is from 1965. The one I found didn't list her even though her name was first on the book. I added it and then figured I should check to see if I needed to add a space since "Mary Price" is fairly generic. An author with that name has claimed the main profile-last year. I'm not sure why that would have been granted since there are books from before they were born. What I was wondering is if GRs could put one of the messages about other authors with the same name. I have started keeping a folder of names so I don't attach the wrong profile to an account. So far none of the ones I've seen have the primary account locked like this. As I said I am unsure if this is where I need to ask. I apologize if is not.

If I understand correctly, you are asking us to edit an author's page and add a comment. If so, you will need to contact support.

"There was only one Mary Price profile, and it should not have been claimed/approved this way with all the other books.
I have contacted GR Support to move the GR author with their single book from the default Mary Price profile: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
I've also created a profile for the cookbook/costume designer Mary Price (3-space profile): https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
And the default 1-space profile: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... collects books by various authors with the name Mary Price.
Thank you. I am still learning. Almost daily I go back to the manual. I have bookmarked several questions so I can reference them. I wonder how big it manual would be if it was printed out.
