Outdated Cover Removal?

Hello - I have no idea if this is the right place to post this, but I need help. My debut novel (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8...) has been showing the "original" cover this entire time. I've updated it twice and now have a "official" cover. I've uploaded that cover here, but it does not show up.

To be extremely clear, these are not "editions." This is the exact same book with a different cover. You cannot purchase prior cover versions anywhere. This is not an issue of editions, and no one is looking for the outdated covers (as I did no promotion with them).

It would be very helpful if the book listing here matched the one on Amazon/Audible, but this site won't let me make those changes. Can a librarian please(!) remove the old covers and have the only official cover be the default?

When you change a cover on your book the only way to display it on Goodreads is to add an 'alternate cover edition', even though you consider it to be the same edition this is the way Goodreads works. All cover variants are kept in the database as 'editions'.

If you want a different image to appear on your author page select the required edition as default.

*I* can't add an alternative cover edition, only a Librarian can do that? I'm only looking to make the actual cover the cover that shows up on the page, and I don't know where to post or who to talk to - and I've tried to do this several times already.

Authors can create alternate cover editions.
Maybe you could read the information for authors linked in the introductory text to this group.
