books with plot twists recommendations?

hi, i'm wondering if anybody has read any books recently with plot twists that are going to come from out of no-where?
i've read the caraval series (and the spin offs) and books like verity which also left me shook! i'm wondering if you lot recommend anything else?

one of us is lying! literally my favorite book! and if you want more of a romance fantasy but still has plot twists, I totally recommend defy the night, it's my all time favorite book!!

Defend and Betray by Anne Perry.
Death of a Prankster by M.C. Beaton.
Find Me by Anne Frasier.

All of the books above are what I chose out of 900 books read from 2012 till last year. They are very surprising, and I consider them very, very good. I hope someone gives any of them a chance.

I recently have read the “We were Liars” book from E.Lockhart. The book is a bit hard to read but the plot twist is crazy. I didn’t expect the ending at all. The tagline of the book is “If anyone asks you how it ends, just lie”, so you know it’s unexpected ahah
