No, we can not, and be correct. God created male and female.
What bible version do you read?

I agree with you, however this is one of the scripture used to justify gender neutrality by some people. Explaining the context behind that scripture will be more helpful towards winning people over than just brushing them aside. As for bible versions I’ve read the KJV and NIV and currently reading the NLT.
