A Fools Alphabet by Sebastian Faulks – 3 Stars

I’ve read a few books by this author and really liked them, but this one I found difficult to stay engaged with. The book tells the life of Pietro Russell, with each one of its 26 chapters telling of a different event set in a different location. The story is not told chronologically, and I found it a bit too fragmented because of this. Pietro is also surprisingly unsympathetic for the main character.
