Erica (ericalane) | 2 comments Alright so I need suggestions! I am doing a sort of competition and I want books over 400 or 500 pages.

I generally like supernatural/paranormal books. Fae, demons, greek/roman mythology, werewolves, vampires etc. That kind of thing, but so many seem to be short. I dont mind romance nor do i mind adult books.

Lately I've liked Fighting Destiny(series about fae, witches, demons) stuff like this. I know i know, very original of me. Badass guy who hates the girl at first, etc etc. Anyways! Suggestions. Longer books that dabble in the urban fantasy/mythology world?

Grace (Calcat) | 99 comments Three series I can think off with longer books are

Written in Red (The Others, #1) by Anne Bishop Great UF series

A Discovery of Witches (All Souls Trilogy, #1) by Deborah Harkness excellent series, with Witches, Vampires and demons, a lot of historical details, particularly in book 2.

Stray (Shifters, #1) by Rachel Vincent Shifter series

Maybe try "They Thirst". About 400 pages. Really good book. Terrible ending, but good book until then.
