Is The Bees you’re suggesting by Laline Paull? I’d suggested that one earlier (msg 53), so am definitely interested in reading that one.

Yes. That's the one :-)
Hey Rebecca! So glad you signed up for Cult Classic. It’s been on my list for so long now 😂 now I’m going to finally pick it up
Andy wrote: "Do we get a reading buddy as well? How does this work."Andy, read through the first post in this thread and the FAQ.
People suggest books they want to read and if one or more other people want to read the book at the same time, I create threads to discuss them for the month they want to read them.
Theresa wrote: "I'd like to join in for "Yellowface," as well. (January)"I'm also planning to read Yellowface
Can I tentatively suggest continuing the Holly Gibney trilogy with If It Bleeds in January and Holly in February? All three books are a bit on the lengthier side so I'm not sure how well one a month will work out for everyone!

Yes, I’m into that! We did the Bill Hodges trilogy one a month and it was fine.
We've all seen that Yellowface won the Goodreads choice award? I'm still 16 on the library waitlist, I do hope I'll have it by January.
You can remove The Outsider from January. I had missed that it was already on the list for December. Thanks!
Blagica and I both received Fourth Wing as our Secret Santa gifts from this group and would like to do a buddy read in January please. Others are welcome to join us :)
Oh, I'd love to read Fourth Wing as a buddy read! Except I'm number 22 on my library's hold list for it. If I get it in time, I'm in for that one as well.
I would like to read Jade City in January and the rest of the trilogy in the following months please!
I recently learned of an interesting-sounding Victorian mystery series. There are 12 books total, and all (as of today) are available on Kindle Unlimited. Penny Green MysteriesI’m going to start in January with Limelight (Penny Green, #1) by Emily Organ. If I like that, I’ll continue with the series, one per month for the year.
Anyone want to join me? :)
I'd like to suggest The Wretched of Muirwood by Jeff Wheeler for March, but I'm open to other months.
SarahKat wrote: "Beth wrote: "Beth wrote: "For January I’m suggesting The Outsider by Stephen King. (This is the first of a trilogy, so the subsequent books to be read in Feb and Mar)...."Sorry I never noticed this until now. Yes, I’ll read in December. Thanks!
I'll try to join Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Fourth Wing too if my holds come through quick enough.Updated
I am new but can I suggest the beautiful series by Renée Ahdieh the last book was just published, I like to read it this month with someone
@Jan, are you planning to read the whole series, starting with The Beautiful? If so, I’d be in at a one book a month pace.
Rebecca wrote: "@Jan, are you planning to read the whole series, starting with The Beautiful? If so, I’d be in at a one book a month pace."Sounds great when did you want to start
Rebecca wrote: "@Jan. I could start as soon as January,, but I’m flexible as to a starting month"If you can start the beautiful this month that be great. I be doing them as audiobooks but can wait tell January if need be
Jan, I have a busy couple of weeks between holidays and birthdays in my family, so I’ll need to wait until January.
Rebecca i understand will there be a thread i need to find in january and do you want to do like a section of chapters or how would ya like to do it
@Jan, the threads are usually posted around the 25th, which will give other people time to join the read, and we’ll be able to discuss progress goals or just go for it and post comments behind spoiler tags once the thread is up.
Suggesting:* The It Girl by Ruth Ware for February (open to other months)
* The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley for March (open to other months)
