My instinct is to wait until I'm a lot closer to the top of the hold list. At the rate things are going, I'll probably get it in January, but I don't want to speak too soon!

I have to dip out on The Guest in January. It was on the Lucky Day shelf at my library yesterday so I went ahead & snagged it! I love the Lucky Day shelf. But I only get the book for three weeks (no renewals) so I need to read & return by December 19!

Did you want to join the December one? There is no rule about repeat buddy reads so if you want to start it in January, you can keep your suggestion open.
