Barbora Jiřincová | 3 comments Hi, are you ready to read something else entirely?
I have recently published my history book full of shocking and intersting stories, that truly happened and shape our present.

Why did medieval men think women’s wombs could wander? How did tuberculosis turn into a fashionable way to die? And could a scruffy rat have done more to save Europe than all the royal doctors combined?

These stories travel from Kyiv in flames to Vienna’s quiet streets, from medieval monasteries to Cold War fashion shows; from the age of superstition to the dawn of science, from Mongol devastation to the nuclear age.

It is an easy read, story-driven, and provides a pretty good insight into the lives of people, especially women in the past, and how it matters to us.
No textbook, no academy, just stories and wonder.
If interested, see here:

Thank you, dear readers, I´ll be happy to read your reviews.

Jaimee Seas | 3 comments Hi Lillian, wondering if you'd be interested in reading and reviewing a children's chapter book about a young fire fairy?

Flintessa Flammabelle and the Glowroot Grove is book 1 in The Flintessa Chronicles. A children's fantasy chapter book series about the adventures of Flintessa (Flint), a young fire fairy who has always felt a little different! In this first story, she discovers why. Flint also goes on a quest of discovery, solves an age old riddle, makes friends, and is brave and courageous when faced with challenges. It's a warm, whimsical and enchanting story for all to enjoy. We can't wait to share Flint's story with you if you're interested. Thanks for your time :)

La Kayshal | 1 comments ARC Reviewers Wanted!

My debut YA Romantasy, The Flames of Darkness, releases on October 18th, and I’m looking for early reviewers to help spread the word!

If you love stories where dragons, prophecy, and first love collide, this one’s for you. Think Fourth Wing meets Shadow and Bone in a clean, dual-POV romantasy.

What it’s about:
When Everin Haydon discovers she’s a dragon, she’s summoned to Drakon Academy, only to learn she’s a late bloomer, unable to shapeshift, and under the Council’s wary eye. Her only solace is Tariel Fenwick, another late bloomer. As they grow closer, whispers rise of the Hell’s Fire Dragon, a feared soul destined to awaken chaos. But what if that darkness lives inside the very person they love?

If you’d like to receive a free ARC through BookFunnel in exchange for an honest review, you can grab your copy here: https://BookHip.com/NRNBMLT

Your reviews mean the world to indie authors like me and help this story find its readers. Thank you so much for considering!

Tunahan AKGÜN | 3 comments Hello all!!

It’s a wholesome romance series blended with psychology and character development. A life journey.

Rather than lingering endlessly on the flirting stage (you won’t spend 500 pages waiting for a kiss!), I focus on the life challenges couples face in the later stages of a relationship.

If you'd like to accompany Mia and Aiden on this long journey of life, we'd be delighted to welcome you to our Happy Cookie shop!

You can fill the form and join!

-No love triangle

-No cheating

Only wholesome romance.

-Deep characters

-Melancholy

-Facing lifes hardships together

-True love

-Comedy

Who is this "series" for?

-Lovers of deep, emotional stories– If you enjoy exploring characters' thoughts, heartfelt conversations, and psychological depth, this is for you.

-Fans of character-driven narratives– If you love watching characters wrestle with their past and personal growth, you’ll feel right at home. Since the story is told from the protagonist’s perspective, inner monologues bring authenticity and intimacy.

-Those drawn to themes of family, friendship, and love– In the end, true happiness comes from love. From family.

-Drama and slice-of-life enthusiasts– If you love stories that capture the struggles of everyday life, relationships, and inner conflicts, you’ll find plenty of that here. But just as in real life, there are also moments of joy, laughter, and warmth in relationships.

-Those who’ve faced hardship, or loneliness–If you grew up in an orphanage, or had a difficult childhood, life, this series might break your heart. But it will also give you hope. A lot of hope. My characters learn to love life despite everything. They find happiness again. Just like I did.

-Readers who appreciate psychological depth– If you enjoy stories that go beyond events and explore a character’s inner world, emotions, and existential thoughts, this series will speak to you. It’s about self-discovery, about understanding oneself—and perhaps, about understanding life itself.

The Happy Cookie series consists of 6 books, and this is the very first one. I’d like to mention that all the books, even their covers are already complete. If you enjoy the first book, you’ll also get the chance to read the rest of the series for free.

Besides this series, I’ve also finished writing two standalone books: one in the fantasy genre and another with a time-parallel universe theme. Currently, I’m working on a long-term post-apocalyptic series, which I’ll be publishing in order.

I love both writing and reading. And you’ll be the very first people to read my books. I truly hope this will be the start of wonderful friendships that last for many years^^

I don’t see myself as an author, I just love writing. And to me, that’s what matters most. Art created for money often loses its soul. My only goal is to share my stories with as many people as possible and present my books in the best way I can.

At the same time, I try to bring my stories to life by illustrating scenes and characters from my books. Because i love my characters. You’ll be able to see these drawings on my social media accounts and on Discord in the future. And as I’ve mentioned, I’m always active on Discord. So if you’d like to chat about books, you’re more than welcome anytime!

If you’d like to join us on an unforgettable journey through life, we'd be delighted to welcome you to our Happy Cookie shop!

You can read first chapter free and you can fill the form and join!

Jim Steffler | 4 comments Hi Everyone

I'm Jim, a new author, and I've just pre-published my debut book, Home is a Foreign Country. If you like non-fiction memoirs relating to survival, travel, transformational journeys and expat adventures, then you will like my books.

Here's a blurb:
On the patio of his Vancouver townhouse, Jim Steffler stood at a crossroads. He was walking away from a million-dollar home, a six-figure salary, and the person he loved most—all to finally face the truth he had been running from his entire life.
From a chaotic childhood defined by perpetual motion and an emotionally distant father, to a life of professional success and a string of failed marriages, Jim’s story is a raw and honest account of a man who always seemed to be searching for a place to call his own. Desperate to find his footing, he sold everything and moved to Mérida, Mexico. What began as a grand adventure became an eighteen-year odyssey, where he meticulously transformed a humble hostel into a beautiful boutique hotel.
But what happens when the paradise you created becomes a cage?
Home Is a Foreign Country is a powerful memoir about one man’s lifelong search for a place to land. It's a story of falling apart and rebuilding, of a man who traveled to the ends of the earth to escape his past, only to discover that home isn't a place you go back to, but a place you must build from within.

A free arc is available on Booksprout in exchange for an honest review:

Thank you

Jim

Jerome Hutcheson | 2 comments Hello Lillian,

Thank you for supporting budding writers. Your task is a noble one. I am looking for A&R Beta Readers like yourself Lillian. I have been writing in a professional non-fiction capacity for a while. Mostly in the technical world. However my specialty is explaining technology to non-technical people. Primarily through the tool of story telling. Making it fun and interesting.

My next book has already went through edit and rewrite. And is ready for the next stage of publishing. But I would love it if I had a few sets of eyes to let me know how it reads? Is there anything that does not make sense? Or am I missing the mark anywhere. The book is titled "The Baby Boomers Guide To Bitcoin" with a subtitle of "How to protect your wealth and retirement, and to actually thrive, when the economy goes boom."

The target audience is Baby Boomers of course. The goal is to simplify the understanding of Bitcoin for people. As well as explanations of how to understand why Bitcoin is so critical for our future. It is not a sales book. It is an entertaining and instructional work, designed to help people. Complete with simple exercises in each chapter.

I truly believe in this project and I have received tremendous benefit. And I sincerely want to share this with others.

What I’m hoping for:
- High‑level impressions (what worked, what didn’t)
- Specific notes on any confusing ideas or order of anything
- A turnaround by end of October.

I am offering a free hard copy of the book or e-book. As well as a mention in my acknowledgements.

If needed I can offer a basic questionnaire to guide your feedback.

Please let me know if you are available or have any questions.

Sincerely,

Jerry
