For example Sam from Gone series. He's the protagonist but I absolutely hate him.
Well, the antagonist, his brother (forgot his name lmao), isn't much better but they're almost at the same level.
Then, the protagonist from acotar. Forgot her name but she's so pathetic lmao I just really dislike her personality. Reading the first book was so tiring because of her just not being qualified for a good protagonist!
Also, the protagonist from Yuri Is My Job! 1. Forgot her name too, lol, but she's just so annoying! I generally hate character tropes that she has, but it's even more exeggarated for her! Everything else in the series is good, more or less, but she was literally the reason why I dropped it after the 2nd volume. UGH.
One of the female characters in the protagonist's harem in Brynhildr in the Darkness 1. Forgot her name too, but she's the one with short hair. Her personality sucks and she goes around sexually harassing people 24/7 without anyone ever complaining about that. Like WHAT. I mean the characters don't like it, sure, but she's never called out on that and that's just disgusting from the author.
There was a whole volume dedicated to her emotional state and fears she has, so yea she's definitely supposed to be the good character, although at the same time a love rival. Still, though, I really hate everything about her and couldn't care less about her emotions. It was just pathetic to read. She does not deserve sympathy or empathy at all.
There's probably a lot more but lol I'm not really into writing a whole novel about characters I hate. Maybe I'll edit this sometime tho.

I tried SOOOO hard to like them. They just made the dumbest decisions and as sisters go…they were AWFUL to each other! Lol! I disliked this series so much and I wanted to love it! I really tried!

He was a nice guy but gosh he tried so hard to fit in and went to the most drastic extreme. He was just reallyyyy annoying. I liked the book a lot though.

Sooo real.
Everyone adores her but I just thought she was a stuck up narcissist.

For me, I would say one of mine is Miles in Ugly Love, he was meant to come off as hot and broody or lost, but to me he just seemed to come off as obsessive, stuck in the past, and at times, a bit of a user. Tate was annoying too but I couldn't blame her for not knowing what Miles wanted because the boy gave so many mixed signals
