(view spoiler)[ It was pretty easy to see that Eve was up to something but using her own father and Grayson was pretty low. The worst was Tobias, using Avery like he did was just plain cruel but he knew she was smart enough to beat Blake.
From all the brothers, Xander got his happy ending with his father who actually wanted him.
It was a nice ending for Avery and a surprised and nice of her to give most of the money away but still made it a game. It was a nice conclusion for Avery (hide spoiler)]

Hey all! So sorry it took so long - I hit my November slump and am just now recovering 😅

(view spoiler)[I enjoyed the puzzles; they may have been my favorite part of the whole book. Some plot twists were easier to see than others (aka Eve's entire character). I did have an issue with the plotline; it felt different compared to the first two, and I didn't like how the villain was handled in the end- it took two pages for everything to be over. All this buildup, and two pages of a not-very-detailed chess match for the villain to be wrapped up.

I still don't understand the point of the love triangle and Greyson didn't feel like the same character, but it was still a fun and intriguing read. I'm curious to see how Barnes is continuing the series with the fourth one?? (hide spoiler)]
