How can I edit books ?

Hi,

I would like to know how can I ask rights to be able to edit books ?
For instance, some of my books doesn't have a publication date, or page numbers. I would like to be able to add it by myself.
Same thing for book cover, some of the cover are not the exact one I own.
Should I join a specific group ?
