MariaSt | 64 comments OMG, YES! I read it 2 weeks ago, and I still think about the cliffhanger at the end. + Bardugo made all of the characters a tragic back story, so there's that if you feel like crying.

message 3: by Gigi ༓☾✧ (new)

Gigi ༓☾✧ the second chapter is already filled with twists and turns. Definitely worth the read, even if some of the language is hard.

salma❦ | 101 comments Does the show shadow and bones spoil the six of crows duology?

message 7: by Kaylee (new)

Kaylee | 17 comments shadow and bone happens before six of crows so it doesn't spoil anything. I definitely recommend reading shadow and bone before six of crows, but six of crows is the superior series in the Grishaverse imo

message 11: by mietskis (new)

mietskis | 18 comments Yes! I found that the first 150 pages were really slow and boring and confusing, but then it got so gooooood. Personally, I preferred Crooked Kingdom over Six of Crows. Have you read the Shadow and Bone trilogy? I found that this helps to better understand the duology but I found Six of Crows to still be really slow even after reading the trilogy.

message 12: by bookhugger (new)

bookhugger read it! although it starts really confusing and boring, it gets better, so just keep reading. shadow and bone helps us understand the world better but once u reach crooked kingdom, i promise its gets wayyy better

Gypsy (ignited_red_queen) | 16 comments I've started to listen to the audible a few times and yes the beginning is very slow paced. So I am waiting for my physical copy to become available at the library and read it that way.

Abbey (bookscatstea) | 5 comments yes! it's better than the Shadow and Bone series.
