theories for book 2 !

Violet is going to join the revolution with her brother. However, she still needs to finish her two last years in the riders quadrant, so she will return as a spy to gather information that would be essential for the revolution.

I loved it. 5 stars from me no question. I'm definitely interested to see the plot unfold especially around her mother. Guess we'll get to find out soon!

I think she is part venin... did nobody notice when it said in the book something like"the flowers wilted to grey as the venin emerged" does no one else notice the correlation between that quote and her hair? it states "no matter what length I would cut it, it would always fade to grey."ummm that's a bit weird... but why? The net part to this theory is her dads death... How did he die? He died from heart failure and left her The Fables of Barren, both a forbidden and a rare book. The dad had been researching venin for a long time and reading Violet the book of fables back when Brennan was still alive and that could be a motive for General Sorrengailto KILL him! He was probably to close to finding out that venin were alive or he did and Violets mom confronted him... Now that her dad was out of the way we just have Violet. The smart/best student scribe. She was most likely going to follow in her dads paths and research into Venin... S o general sorrengail had to make sure that didn't happen. How? by conscripting her into the Riders Quadrant. But that isn't a sure fire way to make sure she never finds out. so what is?? but THEN lets see what General Sorrengails signet is: STORM WEILDING... and what happened on the parapet when it was her turn? Having read the book eight times in a row, I now firmly believe that the storm, which conveniently occurred just on time for Violet to cross the parapet, was her mother’s doing. We know that Lilith is a storm wielder. We also know that the storm started just before Violet’s turn to cross the parapet. This is the quote: “The rain eases into a drizzle, as if it had only come to make the hardest test of my life even harder…but I did it.” so mmmm a bit sus but also a way her daughter never finds out.... Now back to the venin hair issue... I think General Sorrengail is part venin of some such and the dad found out.... maybe but that is then a way for her daughters hair to be grey.... Anyway that's my theory sorry if its really long

My theory for book #2 is that Brennan & Tairn’s past rider were lovers, Violet’s dad was murdered, Dain will be redeemed, and Xaden’s mom is going to be a villain.
