Is it a valid book record?

Hi,

I've come across a request to add a book that was only available for purchase by donating to a fundraiser created by the author on a site similar to Kickstarter. Since the fundraiser is now closed, the only way to buy it is by messaging the author on Facebook. Additionally, the only source that includes book details is not acceptable, so I'll need to ask the person who made the request for photos or scans.

I couldn't find any information about this in the Librarian Manual.
