Do I have to read shadow and bone to read king of scars?

I’ve read the six of crows duology but never shadow and bone so I was wondering if it’s necessary to read shadow and bone first.

It is definitely necessary as it almost completely focuses on shadow and bone characters. The crows really only make a cameo for a few chapters. And if anyone has told you that the Shadow and Bone trilogy is bad, don’t listen tbh. It’s true that it’s not as good as the other Grishaverse books, but that’s comparing it to perfection, so overall it’s a really good series!

yes because it has mostly shadow and bone characters and is derived from the political intrigue you read about in the trilogy. in my opinion it’s really good, i enjoyed it a lot!!!
