I don't see any mention of sports, but if the story contains anything related to sports, for e.g. the MC is a jock/sportsman, then it's okay.

The book doenst start with the letter L but the name of the series-Love under the big sky-does.

There is a book that I have read and want to suggest it to my team mates. The setting is not given 'India' in the info page but during the whole story it keeps jumping between India and US. So will it work if they decided to read it ?

Since India is not mentioned in the setting, I suppose a review confirming the setting is acceptable. However, at least 50% of the story has to take place in India for it to count.

If the heroine sings or plays any musical instrument then you can use it for the trope. But if she's only a passionate music listener then no.
