Does anyone know what happens to the author's page after someone dies? Is GR able to update it?

You would need to contact Support with a link to their obituary. If the author is very famous they may accept a Wikipedia link.

Thank you. I happened to be cleaning up some books that had the wrong author (they didn't have the spaces required). I decided to cleanup just the titles for one of his series. At the very beginning of his final book there is a dedication. It is from another author who finished writing the book due to the first one's passing. It reminded me of "Hitchhiker's Guide". It has been over 20 years, but I recall the 6th book being finished by a family friend.

Totally off topic, but I love your bio. I am also one of the "founts of useless information". One year for Christmas my daughter gave me a "Book of Useless Facts". It truly was useless! In the first 2 pages there were erroneous "facts" that had been debunked years ago. Sorry for prattling on and thank you for the answer.
