I also use the military morale/welfare and recreation (MWR) library quite a bit for ebooks/audiobooks - i just discovered this a few years ago and its letter know, so that helps
My employer (a university) also has a libby account - although its very sparse, but good for research type stuff

Looks great, but it‘s to far to go there on a whim. I am pretty happy with my current libby access.

Isn't it amazing how much digital books (both text and audio) have opened up access for everyone? Enjoy using Libby. I know I do.

Just looked at the pictures. Wow!!

That military resource sounds great! I was a military wife in the 1980s and would have loved it, as the place we were stationed for the longest had a very limited collection.
We have several branch libraries in my mid-sized city. We do have access to interlibrary loans. Some cites do not charge for that service. Ours does.
We also have several academic libraries as we have a large multi-campus communitt.college and a state university here. For an annual fee, the local public can borrow books for 2 weeks--no renewals.

Now, I still use the library, but I only check out audio books and sometimes an E book to use on my kindle.

Do you live somewhere with a great library? What do you love about it?
