Dove (awhhdove) | 32 comments I if by clean you mean no explicit scenes, then yes it is clean!

’m only on the the sixth book, but from what I’ve read so far and from other people have said, it only has fade-to-black scenes :) so I’m almost 100% positive that it’s clean.

IMO I love the series so far! And I think it’s one of my favorite series I’ve read this year so I’d definitely recommend it :)

Jordanna (jordannabubar) | 63 comments Honestly, it handles romance and spice in a way that everyone can enjoy. There is romance between characters but as others said they're mostly "fade-to-black" scenes (my mom and I read it together and I would recommend it to my kids).
I personally enjoy spicy books and I still really loved this series (loved A Court of Thorns and Roses even more .. but it's definitely not PG)

zainab | 3 comments Its the best series I have read plot-wise in fantasy after harry potter which I was surprised about because other ya fantasy series dont really have good plots. It's not exactly clean, there are explicit scenes in the last two three books but they are never over the top and focus is very clearly more on plot. Its very relatable and the friendships are the best.

Regan Sandberg FYI, there is spice! Books 6-8 have some more descriptive sex scenes than fade to black or just kissing.
