David Raz (davidraz) | 13062 comments Since you repeated this claim on four different cases, all of which are already merged and all of them showing as merged for me, perhaps you should explain why you think they are not merged.

Rafael da Silva (morfindel) | 1878 comments If a book is merged its link would be broken, since it does not exist anymore, but all the link still works and leads to an existing edition.

David Raz (davidraz) | 13062 comments I'm afraid this has not been the case for quite some time now, since the introduction of Book Status. Since that change, if a book is merged (=deleted), the status is changed to "Deleted" but the record is not deleted from the database. A link to the "deleted" record will show the edition it was merged into.
