I still really like Evangeline and find Jacks mysterious not very likable that may change. So far Evangeline made a mistake that ended in people being turned to stone with her being turned to stone fixing it. I am interested in continuing the story soon. (hide spoiler)]

Evangeline is a great character very flawed yet still a joy to read about I still find Jacks insufferable well it is still early on maybe that will change. As for the story there are shenanigans going on Apollo is under a spell and Evangeline wants Jacks to break said spell looking forward to where the story goes next. (hide spoiler)]

The story is interesting so Apollo gets bewitched by Jacks with Evangeline trying to get Jacks to end it other things happen and now Apollo is dead and Evangeline was poisoned now they have to find who did it looking forward to reading more (hide spoiler)]

26%(view spoiler)[I am loving it so far picks right up from the last I definitely like Jacks more now more is being found out about him and that makes him more likeable. I still love Evangeline her strength of character and how far she will go for someone. The relationship between Jacks and Evangeline is slowly changing looking forward to where it goes next. The plot is great Evangeline has to find out a way to wake Apollo other things happen and she gets hurt by Apollo since he is under some curse looking forward to where the story goes next. of course I bought the entire series without even reading the 1st book, oops. I hope it's as good as I've heard.

(view spoiler)[ I'm liking Evangeline so far, but she seems naive and hopeless for love. I'm not sure her logic into thinking that the boy she loves is getting forced into marriage? seems a bit farfetched, but I'm interested to see how Jack's magic and deal will come into play with her life.

I'm sorry to hear that you jumped right in and bought the whole series - I didn't like it at all! It reminded me of the fanfictions I enjoyed when I was barely a teenager. Big pass for me !

I agree, writing is really easy to get into. I find myself going through the book pretty quickly while I read.

I still love the characters Evangeline is getting closer to Jacks and learning more about the more I learn the more I like him he seems to the Archer in the story who was cursed to kill his beloved. I love the mystery in this story and how Evangeline is seeing there is more to Jacks than what she can see. (hide spoiler)]

Most of the characters are great I especially love Evangeline even without her memories she knows something is wrong and she really needs to reclaim those memories. I find Apollo despicable in more than one way he is selfish but knows if she had her memories she would leave so he is willing to do whatever to prevent her from getting them back. Jacks has not been in the story again for long but he still cares for Evangeline even if he thinks she is better off without her memories he wants to help her in other ways. 54%(view spoiler)[I am loving this book it was well worth the wait Apollo is a villain Evangeline wants to remember and Jacks just wants Evangeline to be safe and thinks it is better she does not remember him. I love the characters I especially Evangeline she is slowly getting memories back and is confused about many things but is still getting closer it Archer and feels conflicted about Apollo. The plot is interesting things are starting to unravel lies are being told about other characters looking forward to where this all goes. (hide spoiler)]

Other things happen and Apollo gets the punishment he deserves and Jacks and Evangeline get the happily ever after they both deserve. (hide spoiler)]
