I did think it was related to John's murder. I couldn't see any other reason for it. Why put a bomb in Nick's car if it was related to the Johnson case?
This sent me into a tailspin because I couldn’t figure out a motive from the murder case where Nick would need to be taken out, too. Nice twist.
I agree, Jonetta. I really didn't see a reason why the killer would go after Nick. I just figured it was something that hadn't be reveled yet.
Again, this was a re-read so I knew who the culprit was. I think I also suspected Peter during my first read through as he was the only one who would target both Nick and Sam.
I remembered that Peter had planted the explosive devices in both vehicles from my previous reading of this book. When I read it the first time, I thought the bombing had something to do with the Senator's case since the bombs were in both of their cars.
