I would have loved to see a movie series, but after watching the first film i'm not so sure about that anymore. That's why I wouldn't mind a tv-serie of VA. I wouldn't even mind it if it weren't like the books, as long as it is about the VAworld and it has a good story. I'll reread the books anyway, a tv-serie would only add pleasure to my life and I don't think it could ruin the books.

Oh my goodness, if they actually go through with this, I'm going to have to finish the series quickly! Like wow. I thought Vampire Academy was okay, but the movie totally ruined the rest for me! If they make a TV series... wow. It's going to be so much better! The casting wouldn't be a failure, like it was in the movie

No. No. No! I don't want a TV series. I want a film series. I want to see the series continue but not as a television series.

I don't know how to feel about that. On one hand, a television series would be better than movies (as long as they go through the original plot of the books and then stop before they make original content that deviates too much) because there's so much material to cram in a ninety minute film versus twenty-two episodes per season that run forty-five minutes long. On the other hand, I fear that it might be changed waaaay too much from the original spirit and content of the books, like what was done to The Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle. Granted, in both of those cases I preferred the shows to the books because I didn't find the books particularly riveting (sorry, L.J. Smith!), but Ms. Mead is a solid writer and Vampire Academy is her best series, in my opinion, so I wouldn't want to see it mucked up.

Taryn People who say she ruined TVD were probably huge fans of the books, whereas I wasn't wowed by them at all, so I didn't mind the show.

I'm thinking the

Camila i totally agree, the one book one season idea is great and then they should do bloodlines as a spin-off!
