How to read a book in a foreign language?

For school I have to read a german book. Even though it’s only 96 pages I can’t get through it 🥲
Any tips on how to finish it asap?

maybe find a translation online or at a libary?

look out for every word you don't know, which at first will be more than not. google their meaning and write them down, make kind of a glossary, and once you get this going, you'll start googling less and less words bc you'll start understanding them in context and whole sentences.
the first time reading in a foreign language is always difficult, but don't give up! good luck :)
